The Women's and Girls' Fund
Established by area women in 1999, the Women's and Girls' Fund is a permanent fund to benefit women and children in northwestern Connecticut for generations to come. New members are warmly welcomed and the Fund’s ability to make a positive impact in the area increases with each new member. Annual grants are made to nonprofit agencies for the benefit of women and girls.
Any gift to the Women's and Girls' Fund is gratefully accepted, and establishes general membership. Those who pledge $1,000 or more become Charter Members of the fund, and are recognized as such in the Foundation's Annual Report. (This pledge may be paid over a five-year period). All membership levels come with voting privileges on fund initiatives and grant awards at the Women's and Girls' Fund Annual Meeting, held in the early autumn of each year. Please fill out the form below to join with area women who are striving to improve the quality of life for women and girls in northwestern Connecticut.
